The 17th creeps ever closer and that’ll be the night that I give up champagne. Though tonight I’m thinking about someone who would have enjoyed Gigi and a little champagne.

i want to get around to that end of the world in the next few years again probably sydney though.
the cape? it’s lovely for the moment, that spurt of late summer heat which’l go all the way through march and then after easter the world cup anticipation will be tangible.
wine farms? haven’t been out to one for about three weeks so perhaps, perhaps, perhaps but i’m more likely to want to drive down to simonstown for fish and chips but i’ll keep it in mind.

before attacking the local pub for some Super 14 with some Kiwis. Never have I followed all SA activities as much as since I left the country & found out where they were being screened in my new locations!
How’s the Cape?? The dear sweet Cape. Go on a wine tour for me… argh. Wait. You can’t. Well, you can at least enjoy the gorgeous views of all the farms!
because i give up alcohol for 40 days during lent – so not ‘giving up!!!??!’ just taking a break from it. so if you came and had a drink i’d have to give you the bottle.
