Folktronica six and winter weather on it’s way
A little winter drifts in this morning a teaser of what we can soon expect – wind and rain and traffic that crawls along laboriously.
People buy boots, they buy jackets and it’s winter in their lives. I go scrounging around for instant miso soup that I stock pile in my work desk drawer and it’s my brothy version of the season’s eminent arrival.
We are not there yet, I still want to see the Autumn leaves falling, I want to think about the jackets that I want to invest in for the season, I have this informal rule, buy two jackets just before June prods and the those Cancerian birthday parties find you.
The future that is what that is, the present is where we are, the here and the musically now. My Friday playlist with a ‘Folktronica’ flavour which is my next side project, Folktronica part six, I’m a few songs away from a decent proof but there’s no rush, you’ll have it before the winds and rains descend, and it’ll keep you warmer than your heaviest coat, I promise, the sounds of 302 seldom if ever disappoint.
